Maria Cetani Kwiker joined the Building Peaceful Families board as CFO in 2016. Before moving out of San Jose in 2015, she was also an active member of the Red Power Divas, which is a BPF program that promotes health, fitness, and a balanced lifestyle.  In her professional life, Maria has worked at Marriott International for more than 25 years in various roles from restaurant server, to auditor for the Ritz-Carlton brand, to her current role as Director of Finance at the SLS in Beverly Hills.

In her free time, Maria loves singing, sports, travelling, and eating! She holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has visited 36 of the 50 states, and goes to Disneyland whenever she has a chance.

Maria earned her BS in Mathematics from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Cal State Fullerton She holds a Certified Fraud Examiner certification.
